Speed

Speed is the factor number one in Collisions. An increase in speed can result in crashes easily, because the speed contributes to the severity of the impact. When a collision happens at a smaller speed the injury and the impact between two vehicles to much. But increased speed leads to fatal vehicle collisions because of a bigger impact. Speed will affect the stopping distance and the reaction time. Intersections there are number two important factors which contribute to collisions while the first one is the speed. It must be taken in consideration that in the intersections most of the collisions happen and the most dangerous places for drivers are intersection.  There are more hazardous locations that drivers have to find and be aware of them. Left turns are more dangerous than the other maneuvers in the intersection. Turning right at the red light is also need more attention. Older adult drivers, aged 65 and over, are much more likely to commit a collision than most other drivers; Turning in intersections are the most places where senior drivers are involved in collisions.

Most intersection accidents occur when drivers fail to yield the right of way for pedestrians or other vehicles, disobey a traffic sign, and disobey a traffic signal.
